DirectOut Demos New MADI Products At IBC
MADI specialist DirectOut Technologies demoed four new MADI products at this year's IBC show.
ANNA-LISA is a handheld MADI analyser and signal generator providing quick-check indicators for signal condition, input level and jitter plus extended analysis, such as protocol and user bit checks, accessible using an external application via USB or Bluetooth.
KYRA is a four source MADI monitor mixer for MADI monitoring and line checking. Four stereo or eight mono channels can be summed to front panel or external speakers or a headphone output. Space saving KYRA fits a 1U slot making it ideal for all manner of multichannel monitoring applications.
MA2CHBOX.XL is a reference class headphone and MADI monitor controller. There are three MADI ports; SC fibre, BNC and SFP and the AES3 input can be routed independently to either headphones, AES output or line out. MA2CHBOX.XL also incorporates a 194 x 194 USB controlled audio router.
MONTONE.42, a 1U MADI to Ravenna audio-over-IP bridge, offers seamless integration between MADI and networked audio-over-IP devices. Based on the Ravenna network protocol and MADI, it serves as a versatile link for broadcast, live and studio applications.
All devices will also be on show on the DirectOut stand B02 at PLASA in October.
