Exset Appoints New Chief Operating Officer

Exset has announced the appointment of Rian Bester as Chief Operating Officer.

Based at the company's head office in Almere, The Netherlands, Bester brings a wealth of technical and global managerial experience to Exset. He has been in the broadcast technology industry for over 15 years. Born in South Africa, he obtained his Honours Degree in Engineering from the University of Pretoria. He moved to The Netherlands in 2000 and worked for Irdeto, where he fulfilled various global management roles; most recently, VP of Operations and VP R&D prior to that. Bester is an alumnus of London Business School and Institute for Management Development; in his spare time he is keen on boating and photography.
