Exset Appoints Rian Bester As COO

Exset has appointed Rian Bester as Chief Operating Officer, based at the company’s head office in Almere, The Netherlands.

Mr Bester has been in the broadcast technology industry for over 15 years. Born in South Africa, he obtained his Honours Degree in Engineering from the University of Pretoria. He moved to The Netherlands in 2000 and worked for Irdeto, where he fulfilled various global management roles.
He was most recently VP of Operations and VP R&D prior to that.

Helping operators in emerging markets to drive their business forwards with DMS, using digital broadcast networks to reach where the internet doesn’t, is an exciting proposition.
