David Child joins One as head of 3D

David Child is to join One as new Head of 3D, moving from the position of Head of 3D at Hive Animation where he worked for clients including BBC, F1, Bloomberg, UBC, Top of the Pops and Channel 4.
Previous to working at The Hive, Child worked as Senior Animator at Rushes. While at Rushes, David's credits included the Cadbury's Coronation Street idents, Vodaphone 'Twister' and BBC's 'Gentleman Relish' starring Billy Connolly. David joined Rushes in 1998, moving from the position of Senior Animator at Cinesite, where he was involved in creating 3D effects for films including The Avengers, Tomorrow Never Dies, Waterworld, SpaceJam and Event Horizon.
"Dave is a fantastic animator and is one of the most liked and respected 3D guys in town. I'm delighted to add him to our visual effects team," says Paul Jones, Managing Director of One.
