WDR expand Dalet OpenMedia newsroom

Dalet Digital Media Systems, a leading provider of media management tools, have announced that Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR) have selected the Dalet OpenMedia newsroom solution to prepare and produce their television news program, 'ARD MorgenMagazin'.
WDR, a public broadcaster based in Cologne, currently uses Dalet OpenMedia to prepare and produce all of their radio news programs. Pleased with Dalet’s newsroom technology, professional services and technical support, expanding the Dalet OpenMedia implementation was the next logical step for WDR.
“WDR is one of Germany’s most important broadcasters”, said Wolfgang Klein, general manager for Dalet Germany. “We are excited that WDR decided to expand its Dalet implementation to support their television news program. Dalet’s newsroom solution will enable WDR to easily transition to an all-digital environment – increasing efficiency within their workflow."
