LJ Electronic relies on D-Cam performance and reliability at Le Mans

For the first time in 73 years Bentley has won the Le Mans 24-Hours race.
Bentley No. 7, driven by Denmark's Tom Kristensen, Guy Smith, and Rinaldo Capello, took the chequered flag after leading the race for 22 of the 24 hours.
It takes courage stamina and determination to complete the gruelling 24-hour Le Mans endurance race. However, in order to win a driver like Tom Kristensen needs a car with the requisite performance and reliability backed by a dedicated team of engineers.
The day-long, 'vin quatre heures du Mans' is also demanding on the TV crews that cover the race and they also need equipment with the requisite performance and reliability. LJ Electronic, the Copenhagen based production facilities company that covered the race for Danish broadcaster TV2 depended entirely on their D-Cam wireless camera system to cover the Pit-lane action as is happened.
LJ Electronic chose the D-Cam partly because of the exceptional RF performance, partly because of the proven reliability of Gigawave products, and partly because to the unique level of customer support that Gigawave offers all its customers.
The outstanding performance of the D-Cam is such that a cameraman is free to go anywhere in the pit-lane, or film in any of the individual team 'boxes', without having to worry about the picture breaking up or loss of signal. Above all the D-Cam never missed a beat throughout the entire race.
The D-Cam is already a familiar site in pit-lanes at motor racing circuits around the world, but Le Mans is the ultimate test of any wireless camera system.
