MTI Group appoint Chernoff to board

MTI Group Holdings, a leader in image processing technologies, have announced the appointment of Larry Chernoff to their board of directors.
The president of Larry Chernoff & Associates Post-Production Consulting, Larry Chernoff was founder of both Encore and R!OT, two of the premier facilities in television and commercial video post production.
In addition, he was responsible for several innovations in the process of electronic post-production, including the introduction in 1991 of the Avid nonlinear editing system to the entertainment television industry. Chernoff also serves as Chairman of the Ascent Media Creative Services Group, which comprises the largest aggregation of post companies in the world.
The parent company of MTI Film and MTI Machine Vision, MTI Film is a leading supplier of digital mastering software for the post-production industry. Its suite of software enables resolution independent film mastering and restoration, format and standards conversion and unique telecine-complementary tools.
