North West Vision announce skills initiative

North West Vision have announced the launch of their verge skills programme.
The verge skills programme is a series of revealing sessions for media content creators and technology companies from the Film, TV, interactive design and computer games sectors. Powered by Media Training North West and in association with the M62 network, ICDC with support from CIDS, the aim of the programme is to give the regions high growth companies the chance to check out the evangelists, debate about the future, learn from real life case studies and network with the people that matter. Combining inspiration with application, the verge will separate those that 'might' from those that 'can'.
North West Vision believe that the development of digital and other convergence technology has rocked the media entertainment world, challenging traditional business models and ways of working.
In the new environment, new approaches are required in developing opportunities to create new products, service new markets, pursue new distribution channels and develop new partnerships. This headline session will focus on this new 'new' economy and will discuss the developments of technology, debate the opportunities presented by cross industry (film, TV and games) interaction and ask how do we make the most out of our digital assets?
