SysMedia speak on content at OpenTV summit

SysMedia, a UK-based company specialising in teletext, content management and subtitling solutions, have successfully participated in the recent OpenTV’s World Summit in Paris.
Colin Prior, Business Development Director at SysMedia, was invited by OpenTV to speak about “Solutions for Content Authoring” to an audience of key industry figures.
“Content production is our business at SysMedia” remarked Prior. “We have developed our content production and management tool Plasma Magenta specifically to address the needs of broadcasters in the preparation of enhanced and interactive programming, and as such it makes good sense that we are working with industry-leaders such as OpenTV.”
The well-received presentation focused on the major issues facing broadcasters and content providers today – how to move iTV production into the mainstream production process, the benefits of using a stable ‘player’ as the STB application and how to publish the same content to the various iTV platforms in the market.
