Irish Frameworks scheme seeks animated submissions

The Irish Film Board (Bord Scannán na hÉireann), RTE and the Arts Council have announced the next round of the Frameworks animation series.
Now in its eighth year the scheme aims to add to the range and scope of Irish animation.
The deadline for entries is April 4 2003 and all applications should be sent to: Frameworks Animation Scheme, Schemes and Applications Co-ordinator, Rockfort House, Augustine Street, Galway.
Also announced recently by Bord Scannán na hÉireann was the Company Development Initiative - Phase II Application Guidelines and Call for Proposals.
This scheme follows up on 2001 Company Development Initiative, which was the first of a series of initiatives to support the development of Irish producers and production companies. These initiatives aim to encourage company growth and to enable Irish companies to compete in the global audiovisual market.
For more in depth information on how the scheme works and how to apply visit the Irish Film Board website at www.filmboard.ie
