News Image
Argosy, an international supplier of HD broadcast cables and studio infrastructure products, is to reveal its expanded range at this year's IBC show (stand no 10.C51).
The company will demonstrate its range of IEC-lock™ mains cables (pictured), the Fischer Triax HD Pro+ solution and the mini BNC connector from Amphenol among other broadcast infrastructure solutions.
The IEC-Lock mains cable incorporates a locking mechanism to fasten it to the earth pin. The connector features a red button, which must be depressed to unlock the lead, helping secure critical equipment from mains failure.
The IEC-lock mains cables are offered in 1m, 2m, 3m, 4m and 5m lengths. Available in orange and blue, the PVC mains cable has a 7mm outside diameter and rated at 10 amps with a pre-terminated standard Male IEC connector one end and a lockable Female IEC connector on the other.
Argosy will also showcase its Triax HD Pro+ solution.
Produced in conjunction with Draka, the solution increases transmission distances by more than 30%.
The integrated cable and connector solution designed for indoor and outdoor application maximises the performance of a broadcasters' Triax equipment without the need for additional investment in fiber.
Visitors to the Argosy stand at will also see a variety of its HD and fibre optic products, including HD video and audio cables, connectors, high density HD video patch panels, video and audio jackfields, cable markers, cable boots, tools, MDUs, routers, KVM switches, racks, cable drums and network and data products.

"We are always looking to better support our customers in their quest to improve operational efficiencies and maximise ROI, and we do so through the expertise of our team of sales, service and support as well as our offering of high-quality broadcast infrastructure solutions that are stocked at our numerous facilities around the world."
