Sony Action Cam At Isle Of Man TT

Sony's Action Cam was adopted as the official camera of choice for this year's Isle of Man TT race.
The route consists of 37.73 miles, with racers reaching average speeds of 131.671 mph around the mountain course.
47 Action Cams were fitted to the leading racers, with the captured content later making an appearance on the Sony Action Cam YouTube channel.
Action Cam amounts to a 90g body including a 16.8MP Exmor R™ sensor, Image Stabilisation and Slow Motion Photography.
Christopher Coote, Producer at North One TV, commented: "We were impressed with the picture and sound quality of the Action Cam that delivered output which belied its size. We needed a camera solution which was unobtrusive but enabled us to capture the adrenalin rush experienced by the TT riders and the Action Cam fitted the bill perfectly. This is why we adopted it as the official camera of the TT Races this year."
