Fujinon lenses win awards at NAB 2003
Introduced by Fujinon at NAB 2003, the XA101x8.9BESM Highest Magnification HD Telephoto Lens, Prime Lens Series, and Digital Cine Lenses, have all recently won awards in recognition of outstanding achievement in the advancement of the art and science of video technology.
The annual presentation of awards from United Entertainment magazines at NAB has become a tradition that honours the very best of the many new products the show has to offer.
Awards are nominated by industry professionals, and the winners are selected at the show by editors from the relevant magazines.
'Digital TV-Television Broadcast' editors selected the new Fujinon XA101x8.9 telephoto lens; 'Videography' selected the XA101x8.9 and the new Fujinon Prime Lens Series; 'Government Video Salute' selected the XA101x8.9; whilst 'Digital Cinema' chose Fujinon's new Digital Cine Lenses.
Stefan Czich, Sales Manager of the Broadcast Products Division of Pyser-SGI Limited, exclusive UK/Ireland distributor for Fujinon, said: "We are pleased to be introducing these award winning lenses, along with others released at NAB, to our comprehensive range of Fujinon products. The UE Media Awards highlight Fujinon's leadership in the design and manufacture of optics and lens assemblies for the broadcast, professional, digital cinema and industrial markets".
