Conway Recording install SSL XL 9000 K Series console

When Conway Recording owner Buddy Brundo decided to upgrade Studio B, he chose the new Solid State Logic XL 9000 K Series SuperAnalogue console.
The 80-channel XL will address mixing projects and handle everything from stereo to surround. The XL’s super-fast automation, integral surround capabilities, built-in interface for Pro Tools and incredible sound were cited by Buddy as the reasons for the purchase.
“We have a J Series in Studio C and that room has been booked solid for the past six years, so the logical extension for Studio B had to be the next generation console from SSL, and that is the XL,” said Brundo.
“Solid State Logic has taken its accumulated knowledge over the past eight or nine years with the J Series and created the XL.
"They have included standard features that were once customized and in the process have set a new benchmark for analogue consoles.”
