Andrzej Bartkowiak To Run Cinematography Workshop

Hollywood Director and Cinematographer, Andrzej Bartkowiak is to run a one-day cinematography workshop at the Festival in Schull, west Cork.
The workshop will take place on Saturday 25 May at the Sailing Centre in Schull.
Participants of the workshop will be asked to submit a story (in advance of the day), several of which will be considered during the morning session, with a view to shooting one in the afternoon. The story will be told through images, and all of the equipment will be supplied.
Places are limited to 20, so booking is essential, while a nominal fee does apply.
Bartkowiak made his directorial debut with Romeo Must Die, and has been Director of Photography on The Verdict, Terms of Endearment and Prizzi's Honor, each of which were nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards.
Director of the Festival, Maurice Seezer, said: "We are honoured and delighted to welcome Andrezj to Schull for our 5th Anniversary. Many thanks to the Polish Ambassador Marcin Nawrot for creating this opportunity."
