New range of eMediamax routers launched

The new eMediamax range of routers has been launched.
Complementing the 32x33 products introduced late last year, the new 16x17 range of SDI, ASI and AES routers provide "unprecedented features at ultra competitive low prices, without sacrificing quality".
Suitable for both SDI and ASI (telecom) signals this ultra compact 155mm deep, 1RU digital video router features an on-board web browser based set-up, control and monitoring system, together with both digital and analogue monitoring outputs. Even in this tiny package, the router includes as standard, dual on-board power supplies, which continuously provide status information as part of the comprehensive web browser based remote control diagnostics system. Status alarms may also be reported via GPIs, which are included as standard, as is the 'joystick override' feature.
As well as a comprehensive range of panels and web browser based control, the RS485 port permits interfacing with third party products and systems, to make this the best equipped routing system in the world.
The new digital audio router boasts identical physical features to the digital video version, but in addition also facilitates output shuffling and reclocking on all inputs. It supports 96KHz sample-rated frequencies and inputs and outputs are transformer coupled to provide optimum signal quality.
