Christie And Partners Honoured At 2013 EMEA InAVation Awards

Christie's G Series picked up the award in the Most InAVative Commercial Projector Below 10k Lumens category in this year’s 2013 EMEA InAVation Awards.
The awards, sponsored by InAVate Magazine, were presented during a gala dinner which took place midway through the global integration expo, Integrated Systems Europe (ISE).
In a sector contested by many of the leading brands, the Christie G Series came out on top. Available in two resolutions — the 1-chip DLP® DHD550-G HD and DWU550-G WUXGA versions — the new series offers a variety of features making it ideal for boardrooms, conference rooms, education, houses of worship, and other small venues.
It is designed to deliver images with great colour and contrast which enhances the image quality by increasing the contrast ratio to 5000:1 while a standard six-segment colour wheel ensures maximum brightness. At the same time, the projector’s single-lamp design lowers cost of ownership without compromising image quality, and wireless connectivity creates easy connection and a clean presentation space. Finally, three lens choices, input options and 360 degree projection provide ultimate flexibility and three-year warranty.
Projecting Project Success
This was one of a number of Awards which Christie was able to celebrate. Elsewhere in the Project categories there was plenty for Christie partners to cheer, as a number of projects won the coveted awards.
These included the pioneering UCLAN Cyprus campus, carried out by ALA Equipment Co Ltd using an advanced Learning Information Systems (LIS) network — and a wide range of Christie solutions including MicroTiles, JumpStart, as well as L2K1000 and LX400 LCD projectors (Most InAVative Education Facility); Alfa Bank 4D – installed by ETC Paris, which involved a staggering 66 x Christie Roadster S+20K and 15 x Roadie HD+30K projectors and wowed an audience of nearly 800,000 people (Most InAVative Live Event); Qatar National Convention Centre, Qatar, installed by TechnoQ, where 8 x Mirage HD18K, 6 x HD8K, 2 x Spyder X20 0808 can be found as part of the facility’s central rental fleet, and in the Most InAVative Corporate Facility category, ADAC, Germany — where integrators Hartmann + Mathias specified a Christie Spyder X20.
