Slim, flexible, low powered LCD monitors shown at NAB 2003
Gefen's new line of dual-purpose TV/PC LCD monitors sport an ultra-thin design and are designed to enable full or partial screen television viewing while working on a personal computer.
The monitors, which range in size from 12 up to 46-inches, provide greater flexibility and improve workplace aesthetics by accommodating placement on the desktop or by hanging on the wall. Each is equipped to handle digital video, television, touchscreens and additional audio support.
Other features include remote control operation, picture-in-picture capability, built-in speakers, and a wide range of settings that can be altered to fit each user¹s unique requirements.
Unlike other methods of TV/PC convergence, the monitors require no additional computer hardware or software to install. Any personal computer can connect to the LCD monitors; television viewing requires a cable modem or antenna connection.
