Tyrell supply DS Systems to Flix

Flix Facilities have purchased a third Avid DS creative, editing and finishing system from Tyrell.
This installation, which is to be based at Flix's new Quay Street office in Manchester city centre, makes Flix Facilities one of the largest DS users in the UK.
Flix Facilities’ client base covers a wide range of work including documentaries, animation, corporate and commercial. The company has just finished work on 52 episodes of 'Bill & Ben' for the BBC and ‘Welcome to Manchester’, a behind the scenes look at the Commonwealth Games also for the BBC. The company has 12 members of staff and four online and eight Avid Media Composer offline suites and chose the Avid DS system to give the company more capacity for its upcoming projects.
