BBC Studios And Post Production Hosts Skavlan

BBC Studios and Post Production has provided studio services for iconic Scandinavian chat show Skavlan, as four recordings are brought to London.
The co-production between public service broadcasters, Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK) and Swedish National Television (SVT), is hosted by popular journalist and TV personality Fredrik Skavlan. Transmitting in a prime time Friday night slot, between 2.5 – 3 million viewers tune in each week across Norway and Sweden for in-depth interviews with some of the world’s most famous and influential people.
Skavlan’s production company Monkberry is switching four shows from Stockholm to London for series 5 where they will be filmed in front of a live studio audience at BBC Television Centre. The first episode was recorded on 26 September and featured Alicia Keys and Eddie Izzard. The remaining three shows will be recorded on 31 October, 7 November and 12 November.
BBC Studios and Post Production supplied full technical equipment, supported a complete set build and provided and coordinated craft staff and crew, as well as facilitating video feeds back to edit viewing stations in Scandinavia.
