Italy's Sportcast Relies On The Observer Digital Video Logging And Monitoring System

Volicon have announced that Italy's Sportcast is relying on the Observer digital video logging and monitoring system to provide compliance monitoring for its new HD Super Tennis channel, originated by leading European broadcast services provider SBP. Supplied by systems integrator Allyn and installed at SBP facilities in Rome, the Observer system provides continuous monitoring and logging of Super Tennis channel content, which can be quickly accessed, reviewed, and exported for proof of compliance.

The Volicon Observer system captures, stores, and streams aired content and gives monitoring staff instant access to live and recorded content from an easy-to-use Web-based GUI. Users at the desktop can monitor the content going out to air or dial back as many as 90 days to find and provide proof that content aired properly. Offering play, pause, and search functionality for recorded content on either a desktop or mobile device, the Observer enhances the agility of SBP and Sportcast by demonstrating that programs and commercials have aired properly.
