Flagship XL SuperAnalogue console chosen by SAE

The School of Audio Engineering (SAE,) the largest professional training institute for audio, creative media and digital film in the world, have purchased an XL K Series SuperAnalogue Console for installation at their global headquarters in Byron Bay, NSW, Australia.
Due for completion on July this year, Byron Bay is a University-style campus where, as in all SAE centres, students will combine the best of theoretical practice with ‘real world’ experience under industry professional guidance. SAE offer internationally recognised courses to Diploma, Degree and Masters levels.
Commenting on the purchase, SAE founder and President Tom Misner, said: “Since we started in 1976, it has always been our policy to offer students training on the finest equipment available, so we are delighted to be acquiring the largest XL console in the educational field. This means that SAE students will be familiar with the console adopted by the world’s most prestigious recording and mixing studios.”
An international benchmark of educational excellence, SAE currently have 38 locations throughout the world.
The new campus in Byron Bay will have more than 30 A/V studios and nearly 100 workstations for direct hands-on experience.
