Reality TV series shot with Panasonic AG-DVC200 DV Pro-line

Five-time Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Lee Stanley recently completed the first phase of a new reality television series, DREAM CHASERS, which he shot with Panasonic's AG-DVC200 full-size 3-CCD DV PROLINE camcorder.
The AG-DVC200 is equipped with three broadcast-quality, 1/2" 410,000-pixel CCDs to deliver 800 lines of horizontal resolution, a signal-to-noise ratio of 62dB at the camera output, very low smear, high sensitivity of F11 at 2000 lux, and low-light shooting as low as 0.5 lux.
Lee Stanley, President of Stanhaven Productions, said: "What we were looking for in a camera was high production values – we didn't want this to look like a travelogue – and the ability to withstand the harsh marine environment.
"The AG-DVC200 performed flawlessly. This was my first experience shooting digital video, and I was immediately impressed with the quality of the dailies. The camera's light is extremely well-balanced – we shot roughly 90% of the footage in natural light – and the controls are well-placed and intuitive.
"It's hard to overstate the challenges of the marine setting, with the camera being utterly exposed to the elements, omnipresent salt water in the air and my frequent shooting while hanging off our 54-foot sailing ketch.
"This was an exhilarating but tough shoot, and the AG-DVC200 allowed us to come home with the goods."
