Digital Rapids technology to be used in Marillion record attempt

Digital Rapids are partnering with UK Band Marillion in attempting to set a World Record for fastest DVD release.
Marillion, well known in the 80’s and 90’s, continue to have a huge fan base today and are hosting their annual fan convention this weekend with attendees gathering from around the world. During the convention Marillion will put on a live concert including the entire 'Afraid of Sunlight' album.
The concert will be recorded and encoded live using Digital Rapids StreamZ technology, which will enable Marillion to start the DVD authoring process as soon as the concert is over. The DVD should be available for sale on either Saturday night or Sunday, landing Marillion in the Guinness Book of world Records for the fastest DVD release ever.
