Chyron expand facilities at ITN
Chyron Corporation have announced that ITN London have recently expanded their Pro-Bel Eclipse routers.
One of the main reasons for the expansion was to prepare for the time when customers will convert to digital.
ITN is largely equipped with Pro-Bel routers – which at last count totalled sources at 2,300 and destinations at 1,650. The increased size and flexibility proved invaluable during the ITN coverage of the Queen Mother's funeral – the first event on which the new infrastructure was operated.
"ITN has a relied on Pro-Bel routers to provide quality and reliable solutions in an ever changing and challenging environment," said Kevin Morrison, Senior Technical Project Manager, ITN.
He added: "Installation was problem-free and re-enforced our decision to expand our Chyron equipment."
