New Shed Media Comedy Division Launches
Shed Media Group has launched a new entertainment and comedy production company.
The new company, Yalli, will be based at Shed’s London office and produce quirky and factual entertainment and comedy television shows.
The former show runner of The Paul O’Grady Show, Robert Gray will take the helm as the business develops new plans and revitalises chat and game show formats.
Yalli has already been commissioned to produce two new comedy pilots for the BBC. Including, Impractical Jokers, a hidden camera show featuring four comedians who set each other a host of unbelievably awkward challenges.
Produced by North South Productions for truTV in the US, the format has been referred to as “laugh-out-loud funny” and the “most ridiculous, funniest hidden camera shows ever” by the New York Post.
