Chyron To Present 'Cloud 2.0' At BVE

It has been announced that a one-day event at the upcoming Broadcast Video Expo(BVE) will examine today’s cloud-based technologies.
Chyron have revealed that Paul Glasgow, vice president of EMEA sales, and Todd Martin, senior vice president, Strategic Solutions Group, will present "Cloud 2.0" at BVE 2012 as part of a one day featured event.
The session will explore the use of cloud-based technologies across the broadcast and post-production communities and provide a detailed discussion of how such technology can integrate with users' ground-based software applications to improve efficiency in quality graphics production.
"The many benefits of working with a cloud-based graphics creation platform include the sharing and repurposing of graphics within an organization, which in turn allows reporters and news producers to access the same content and take timely stories to air more quickly," said Glasgow.
"During our BVE presentation, we'll outline this model and then venture into how integration of the cloud-based platform with leading applications such as Apple Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, and ENPS publishing software within a cloud-based workflow can enable greater operational efficiency."
Glasgow and Martin, who are slated to present "Cloud 2.0" at 12 p.m. on Feb. 15, speak about this subject with extensive experience in designing and deploying cloud-based content creation services.
In his role as vice president of EMEA sales, Glasgow is closely involved in developing Chyron's broadcast graphics and cloud services business. An industry veteran of 25 years, Glasgow has been involved in deploying leading-edge media technologies and processes for many years in EMEA roles at da Vinci, Sony, and Avid. As Senior Vice President of Chyron's Strategic Solutions Group, Martin is responsible for product management, strategic direction, and partnerships. He joined Chyron in Jan. 2008 with the acquisition of AXIS Graphics, today known as Axis World Graphics, and has led the company's hosted cloud-based operations for nearly a decade.
