Parade's End Reaches The Capital

Parade's End starring Benedict Cumberbatch (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy) and Rebecca Hall (Vicky Cristina Barcelona) is a new five part TV drama which is currently shooting in and around London.
The flagship drama from BBC Two and HBO sees acclaimed screenwriter Tom Stoppard reuniting with producer and Film London Chair, David Parfitt, after they last worked together on the multi Oscar-winning film Shakespeare in Love. Stoppard has adapted the quartet of novels by Ford Madox Ford, considered by many to be one of the literary masterworks of the 20th Century.
Set during the First World War, the story revolves around a love triangle. At its centre is English aristocrat Christopher Tietjens (Cumberbatch), his beautiful, socialite wife Sylvia (Hall) and Valentine Wannop, a young suffragette, played by Adelaide Clemens.
Parade's End is directed by multi Emmy-nominated and BAFTA® award-winning film-maker Susanna White (Generation Kill, Nanny McPhee and The Big Bang). Its strong supporting cast includes Roger Allam (The Queen) Anne-Marie Duff (Nowhere Boy), Rupert Everett (The Importance Of Being Earnest) and Miranda Richardson (Made In Dagenham).
Locations in the capital which the production is utilising to portray period London include the Royal Horse Guards Parade, Hyde Park, Victoria House in Bloomsbury Square, Trafalgar Square and Lincoln's Inn.
Parade's End is a Mammoth Screen production for the BBC in association with HBO Miniseries,Trademark Films ,BBC Worldwide and Lookout Point. It is co-produced with BNP Paribas Fortis Film Fund and Anchorage Entertainment.
