ITV Secure Warner Bro's Movie Package
The UK’s ITV has brought the rights to a number of blockbuster movies from Warner Brothers including the right-to-air premier of the sixth Harry Potter movie.
The purchases include the sixth Harry Potter instalment: Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, I Am Legend starring Will Smith, 300 and The Matrix Trilogy.
Other titles covered by the deal include Scooby Doo and Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed.
The deal was announced Tuesday by Warner Bros. prexy of international television distribution Jeffrey R. Schlesinger and ITV director of digital channels and acquisitions Angela Jain.
