Tom Six's Film Takes Disappointing £942 At Box Office

It has been revealed that controversial horror film, The Human Centipede, did not perform well at the UK box office despite the amount of publicity surrounding the film.
The gross out horror flick took only £942 in its first weekend when it opened on ten UK cinema screens.
Tom Six's controversial horror sequel was finally granted a UK release last week after two minutes and 37 seconds were removed in order to obtain an 18 certificate.
Despite the disappointing takings director Tom Six said: "They cut out a bit of the sexual violence but [the story] all stays really in place. So I'm so very happy now that a UK audience is able to see it now and it did very well for us because it was such a huge marketing thing, everybody was talking about the film because of them banning it."
The director also said that he had plans to make the Human Centipede collection a trilogy with plans for a third and final film.
