S4C careers online

Animation and Design company, Griffilms, have just completed the Flash elements for S4C's new online careers initiative.
The site is aimed at explaining to teenagers the many different jobs in TV by taking a humorous look at the business. It works by allowing the users to click on a range of animated television characters to get a given job description then, when they click on another button, a short movie of that work place scenario is triggered.
S4C chief executive came up with the idea which takes visitors through the whole production process, from pitching and commissioning, through production, right through to broadcasting and marketing. Griffilms MD, Griff said, " It was great for us to continue with our development into animating directly for the web creating a physical bond between animator and viewer through interactivity".
