Channel Dynamics get top wireless deal

Consolidating its plans to develop its cross-platform business, Channel Dynamics, the specialist distributor of PC and Mac enhancement products has been appointed by Proxim to represent its range of Wireless LAN networking products.
Proxim has been in the news recently as one of the first companies to release a new generation of IEEE 802.11a high-speed products in the 5GHz band in addition to its established range of 802.11b 11Mbps products. Proxim is the premier wireless equipment company with leadership positions in 802.11 enterprise LAN, public wireless access, distributed broadband and carrier-grade wireless backhaul systems.
With Proxim, Channel Dynamics will be well positioned both to serve its established customers in the Mac market and to add to its penetration of the PC market. Technical Director Mark Wood says, “The Proxim range allows us to offer the most comprehensive selection of access points and wireless interface products in the market. This in turn enables our dealer partners to deliver the right solution to meet their customers needs.”
