VISLINK Launches New Wireless Camera And Satcom Benefits At IBC 2011

At IBC 2011, VISLINK will feature its latest wireless camera and satcom technology as well as new products from Gigawave, which are now part of the VISLINK brand.
VISLINK International Managing Director Stephen Rudd said: "Our product portfolio continues to lead the industry. The welcome addition of Gigawave with its highly impressive stable of specialised RF equipment for OB, news gathering and security applications - as well as expertise in live streaming, satellite communications and motorsport - has further strengthened VISLINK's ability to serve worldwide markets with the highest standards of technology, service and support."
VISLINK and Gigawave products will this year feature on two stands, the Hall 1 (A61) location for new offerings from VISLINK as well as appropriate Gigawave products; and Gigawave technology will be showcased in the outside exhibitor area (115) with relevant VISLINK products in the mix.
VISLINK will demonstrate new LINK Research digital pre-distortion (LDPD) wireless camera technology, flawlessly deployed for the first time to cover The 2011 Golf Open Golf Championship in Sandwich, Kent, during often treacherous weather conditions.
Gigawave will use IBC 2011 to demonstrate the latest version of its highly successful D-Cam 'Clip-on' wireless camera system, which together with the new MVL-HD3 'Diversity' receiver now comes with ultra low-latency MPEG4 H.264 encoding/decoding. The MVL-HD3 also features a compact head dual-antenna RF 'Head' Unit.
VISLINK will also feature its ADVENT LYNX 5200 H.264 IRD with DVB-S2 modulation capabilities that offers substantial benefits to satcom broadcasters.
LINK wireless camera systems have a number of unique features, including the ability to use a camera manufacturers' RCPs; field swappable RF modules from 1.95 - 7.5GHz; a choice of standard DVB-T modulation and LINK's own LMS-T, which provides superior RF signal integrity.
