Teletest To Show 'World's Brightest LCD Monitor' At IBC

The Cyclops-HD - Teletest's brightest LCD monitor - is being launched at this year's IBC.
At 1,500nits, Managing Director Nick Rose claims the screen is five times brighter than almost any other LCD available today.
High resolution with HD-SDI inputs, the Cyclops-HD is designed for cameramen filming outdoors, particularly at sports events or nature and sea based documentaries.
Dave Crute from Rock Steadi Pictures said: "The Cyclops-HD is perfect for use on my many Steadicam rigs. The screen is so bright that you can see the colour picture in direct sunlight."
The Cyclops-HD can also include a 5.8GHz video receiver so it may be used as a director's confidence monitor.
Another version of the Cyclops-HD allows any S3D camera-rig operator to set up their equipment on location.
Nick Rose continued: "The 3D card inside the LCD allows the stereographer to flip an image for a mirror rig and to align the camera using overlay and colour difference.
"Then they can view the images in 3D using the anaglyph mode and glasses."
