Off The Fence Sells Joan Rivers Series To Major International Networks

Leading global production and distribution company, Off The Fence (OTF) sells reality series Joan and Melissa: Joan Knows Best? to leading international broadcasters.
NBC Universal and E! in the UK, Australia and New Zealand have picked up both the first and second series while E! in Canada has picked up season one and a pre-sale of season two. Fox Life in Holland and Belgium has also acquired both series.
The lifestyle series follows international comedic icon, Joan Rivers and her daughter Melissa as they go about their daily lives. After numerous negative headlines about their relationship in the press, Joan now wants to focus more on her family and this series sees offers audiences a chance to see what happens when outspoken and opinionated Joan moves in and crashes into Melissa's independent world. This hilarious and tumultuous relationship addresses the question plaguing daughters since the beginning of time: does mother really know best?
Bo Stehmeier, Director of Sales, OTF, said: "OTF is moving further into the lifestyle and reality genre of programming and this series is exactly the kind of content we're looking to include in our slate. We are thrilled with the current sales we have achieved and look forward to securing further deals for this exciting property."
OTF has over 1.400 hours of lifestyle programming in its catalogue with titles including Raising Sextuplets - a series that follows a couple as they expand their home, go back to work, and deal with everyday tasks whilst taking care of their family of six newborn babies; Platinum Weddings - the ultimate wedding series that captures the drama and decadence of wedding planning on an extraordinary budget and Adoption Diaries - a touching series that reveals the individual uplifting stories surrounding the Open Adoption process in America.
