Content Digital Announces Deal With Atlantis Investments For Strictly Sexual

Content Digital, a division of Content Media Corporation, has announced a deal with Atlantis Investments for the distribution of all rights worldwide to Strictly Sexual: The Series.
The 6 x commercial half-hour sitcom is the spin off to the hugely popular indie film Strictly Sexual which has become the most popular film on US streaming site Hulu, is the third most watched programme available on Hulu across all genres and has enjoyed similar success n Netflix and iTunes. Content will offer the series across all platforms, including broadcast and digital.
Strictly Sexual: The Series tells the story of friends and lovers, as their relationships are tested, broken and mended. Building on the plot of the film, the series follows the same captivating characters and their complex interpersonal relationships and stars Johann Urb (2012, Entourage, CSI) as 'Joe', Kirsten Renton (Days of Our Lives, Sons of Anarchy) as 'Summer' and Stevie Long (Sons of Anarchy, The Mind Of The Married Man) as 'Stanny'.
Jonathan Ford, EVP Digital Acquisitions and Distribution at Content Digital, said: "What we have acquired in Strictly Sexual: The Series is a property which will work hard in all media and has the potential to be absolutely game changing in the world of episodic online programme streaming. We are delighted to present this series to US and international buyers."
Joel Viertel, Co-Creator and Director of Strictly Sexual: The Series, said: "Content Digital's approach to Strictly Sexual: The Series filled us with confidence as they recognise the potential it has to become a landmark success story for online streaming, download and traditional broadcast."
Strictly Sexual: The Series is a smart, funny and introspective look at sex and love, exploring what happens when two young women swear off men to focus on their careers.
One maintains a strictly sexual relationship with a man she's attracted to but could never love, while the other safely chooses a sexual relationship with another woman. To their surprise, real feeling show up, causing all the arguments and heartache each was trying to avoid. The series takes a wry look at dating in today's world with its comedy grounded in authentic situations such as same sex relationships, the balance of career and love, and the challenge of what we learn from and bring to our friendships.
