WRN Broadcast Appoints New Chairman

International broadcast services company WRN Broadcast has announced the appointment of Tim Asburner as Chairman.
Tim Ashburner, who is currently Technology Director, has been appointed following the opening of WRN Broadcast's state-of-the-art Media Centre and the launch of its London-based Media Village aimed at like-minded broadcast clients.
A former Senior Audio Supervisor at the BBC, Tim is one of the founders of WRN Broadcast. He was responsible for the company's technical strategy and growth using new and emerging technologies and in 1999 won the prestigious IBC Engineer of the Year Award for service to radio innovation, specifically for work carried out on DAB and DVB systems. Tim still maintains a role within the technical department.
