Scrub Equips Pure For Move To Soho

Scrub, the post-focused subsidiary of broadcast audio technology specialists HHB Communications, has supplied a Pro Tools/ICON D-Command system to Pure Soho during its recent move.
Working closely with Mike Watson at Absolute CAD who provided wiring services, Scrub was delighted to supply its new neighbour, Pure Soho.
Previously providing highly successful music composition and audio production services from a base in west London, Pure Soho's Managing Director Simon Bass' decision to establish a full-blown state-of-the-art facility in the heart of London's media community is already paying dividends. Located at 113-117 Wardour Street, Pure Soho has been busy from day one, attracting work from both the advertising and broadcast industries.
Pure Soho's Senior Engineer Zak Kurtha, reported: "Pro Tools was an easy choice for us as it focuses precisely on the type of work we do. Pro Tools is an industry standard, offering very high quality and stability in its HD systems, alongside full compatibility with lower cost packages - with no compromise on standards. This allows us a great deal of flexibility between studios and systems.
"The ICON D-Command provides a quick and natural extension to the main Pro Tools features, with an excellent level of customisation for specific workflows."
As Simon Bass explained, the choice of equipment supplier was almost as important as the choice of equipment itself: "Expansion into Soho can leave a fast growing, creative company vulnerable. Scrub was a rock for us: on time and on budget. They really understood what we set out to achieve so, when we opened, we hit the ground running."
Zak Kurtha continued: "The entire process from initial contact to delivery and set-up was handled in a personal and efficient manner. There was always someone available to speak to, keeping us updated on what was going on. The support we received from Scrub alongside the excellent service from Absolute CAD was invaluable. Having suppliers you can truly depend upon makes it so much easier to get on with your own work."
Pure Soho is an audio production facility in the heart of Soho, offering post production and music composition services under one roof to the advertising and broadcast industries.
Scrub is a subsidiary of HHB Communications, located in Soho and committed to ensuring that broadcast and post production clients enjoy the maximum returns on their investments in audio technology.
