SGO Appoints New Director Of Global Sales & Operations

SGO has announced the promotion of Geoff Mills to Director of SGO Global Sales & Operations to develop new relationships and manage sales of Mistika worldwide.
In the short space of time since Geoff's initial appointment at SGO, he has already made his mark and has rapidly promoted Mistika, not only in the UK, but has influenced sales in Scandinavia, Europe, America and Asia.
Credited with over 25 years of industry expertise, Geoff brings significant experience to SGO where he will also continue to manage the UK portfolio of client relationships. Using his wealth of knowledge of the sales and operations process, having managed large teams and budgets, he will serve a pivotal role in driving forward opportunities of growth for the company. In addition, his insight of wide ranging technologies, platforms and financial constraints provide a distinct advantage.
Geoff has helped to substantially raise the company's profile at key industry events and other platforms such as IBC and NAB and has provided Mistika post production systems in the UK to British Sky Broadcasting Corporation (BSkyB), On Sight, BTV, Preditors and Framestore. He has also directly managed the SGO account for New Zealand's Park Road Post Production who, between them all, are making Mistika an integral core system in their stereo 3D infrastructure.
Geoff said: "I am eager to further develop new business on a global scale at SGO. The company is strategically placed for me to drive key sales opportunities, where I can add valuable input in that area. With stereo 3D being a key market development and SGO opening offices in many parts of the world, this is a very exciting time to be increasing the awareness of Mistika and ensuring our aims of exceptional customer relationships are maintained. I will also be responsible for appointing new Mistika resellers and strategic partners as part of this process."
Miguel Angel Doncel, CEO of SGO, said: "Geoff's experience, his charisma and human touch fits like a glove with SGO's philosophy, because the important thing for is is not the trademark, but the people. His industry vision and concern for our customer's needs will help us deliver, at an even higher level, the best state-of-the-art technology, combined with outstanding service."
