Michael Higgins named MD for Adobe UK

Adobe Systems Incorporated, the leader in network publishing, has further strengthened its professional talent in the creative publishing and enterprise marketplaces with the appointment of Michael Higgins as managing director of Adobe UK, where his role will also include overseeing sales efforts in Ireland, Benelux and CEEA.
Higgins joins Adobe from Mobilocity Inc, the leading US mobile technologies consultancy, where he was responsible for developing the financial services practice from start-up. Prior to this, Higgins held directorial positions at leading IT services companies, EDS and Sapient, both in the UK and US, where he boosted sales by more than $500 million and built relationships with leading corporations including General Motors, Unilever, JP Morgan Chase, Goldman Sachs and American Express.
Commenting on the appointment, Jim Stephens, senior vice president worldwide sales and field operations, Adobe, said: "Michael has a wealth of business and technology experience spanning 25 years, including a track record of strong leadership and solid business development. With the expansion of our enterprise business strategy, Michael is joining Adobe at a crucial point in the company's development.
