Tiffen International Appointed Transvideo UK Distributor

Tiffen International has been appointed the official UK distributor for Transvideo S.A..
The agreement, completed at the recent IBC exhibition in Amsterdam, covers all Transvideo products including the Oscar award-winning video assist monitors and the Titan HD video link system as well as many other professional 2D and 3D monitors and associated accessories.
Terry Carey, Managing Director, Tiffen International, said: "We are delighted to be working together with Transvideo. There has been a long and close relationship between our two companies with Transvideo video assist monitors being widely used with our Steadicam products."

Tiffen International is making use of its affiliate, The London Filter Company, to be the UK shop front for Transvideo products. Based at the Oval, LFC now adds Transvideo to its existing range of Tiffen products that include optical filters, Steadicam Lowel Lights and Domke Photographic Bags.
Carey Duffy, Operations Director at LFC, commented: "This is the perfect addition to our range and we know the Transvideo products very well. The field HD and SD monitors are already a popular choice for Steadicam operators working in film or HD acquisition. Transvideo provides the high quality product required for in-field monitoring and to generally withstand all the knocks and bangs of everyday production. Monitors designed and manufactured by Transvideo include CineMonitorHD HDTV and the Starlite and Rainbow SDTV ranges of LCD flat-panel field monitors that are used for video, film and digital cinematography. The choice of SuperBright Technology allows clear viewing outside in high ambient light. Recent product developments include the HD 3DVIEW monitor that received the CinecAward 2010 at the recent Cinec trade fair in Munich, the new HDMI monitor for DSLRs and the TitanHD wireless HDSDI camera link. Products also include accessories such as format converters and monitor mounting accessories for cameras and Steadicam.
