MHz Appoints Alan Pimm To The Management Team

International independent systems integrator Megahertz (MHz) has appointed Alan Pimm to join its management team.
Pimm will support the growth of MHz's international business with a particular focus on expanding the company's systems integration offering for file-based workflow solutions and extending its reach into the Asia Pacific market.
With a strong technical and engineering background, Pimm brings a wealth of experience gained from over 25 years in the broadcast production sector. He is particularly proficient at implementing complex end-to-end file-based workflow systems for customers looking to automate their facilities and drive a return on investment.
Pimm comes to MHz from systems integrator ATG Broadcast, where his recent achievements include the comprehensive rebuild of Astro's All Asia Broadcast Centre (AABC) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and the launch of HD television in Malaysia. Previous roles within the broadcast industry include project supervisor at Channel 4 and senior engineering roles at the BBC and Grass Valley Systems.
Frances Jarvis, Managing Director of Megahertz, said: "We are delighted that Alan is joining our management team at MHz as he has already demonstrated his outstanding technical expertise and business capabilities on a number of international projects and I am confident that he will bring those to the fore at MHz. Alan will continue to extend our offering into the Asia Pacific market and support global broadcasters to implement file-based workflows as they transition their business to automated solution and drive ROI in an ever-changing and competitive, multi-platform, multi-format environment."
