Walt Disney Studios To Use Nuke

Walt Disney Animation Studios has licensed Nuke, the Sci-Tech Award-winning compositing technology from leading visual effects software developer, The Foundry, will utilise it in the production of its feature projects.
Disney will use The Foundry's tools to help re-envision the way departments and workflow come together in creating animated films.
Foundry CEO Bill Collis said: "We are excited that Walt Disney Animation Studios has chosen Nuke as its compositing tool of choice. The boundaries of animation are constantly being pushed and workflows often have to mix the worlds of 2D and 3D in a surprisingly similar way to live-action production. Nuke's 3D space and open API make it a strong candidate to integrate well and deliver regardless of the end product."
