3D: An Introduction - Mini-conference

The advent of 3D is upon us and it's here to stay.
As technology becomes more sophisticated and widespread its potential to offer the film and television industries exciting possibilities in terms of enhanced storytelling and providing audiences with immersive entertainment experiences is becoming evident.
With 3D TV screens arriving in our homes, this is clearly a growth area that demands new skills, particularly in production and post-production.
BTV Post and Lighthouse are holding an 'Introduction to 3D' mini-conference during the last week of June and invite expressions of interest from film, media and TV professionals who want to gain a comprehensive overview of the processes, techniques and challenges involved with 3D production.
Sessions will cover all stages of the production process, from planning and pre-production through to post. Attendees will benefit from hands-on workshops during which they will be able to watch the cutting edge equipment and technology in action, and learn direct from experienced practitioners.
BTV Post is a cutting edge facility house that is at the forefront of stereoscopic 3D content creation. With the expertise and systems required for creative programme making, BTV Post offers an extensive range of 3D services enabling clients to utilise the medium for any type of visual content. The mini Conference will take place the week beginning 27th June (Date TBC) from 9.30-17.00
at Lighthouse located at 28 Kensington St, Brighton BN1 4AJ.
