TSL 'Sounds Out' Sunday Times Top 100

A leading broadcast sector business that produces a range of audio monitoring, power management and tally signalling products, TSL, has been named in the latest Sunday Times PricewaterhouseCoopers Profit Track 100 list.
That means it is one of Britain's top 100 private companies having recorded some of the fastest-growing profits over the last three years.
The table is compiled by Oxford-based research and networking events company Fast Track, with sponsorship from PricewaterhouseCoopers, Lloyds Corporate Markets, and UBS Wealth Management.
TSL is placed number 77 in the rankings. According to The Sunday Times Profit Track 100: "The firm designs and installs broadcast systems for television companies, including the BBC and ITV, using its own and third-party components.
"More than 60% of TSL's systems are now exported and the company opened an office in Dubai in 2008.
"The move to high definition (HD) and Dolby sound has bolstered business and the Maidenhead company recently won the contract to develop HD for the Welsh channel S4C.
"Led by David MacGregor, Chairman and majority-owner, the company increased profits 47% a year from £1.3m in 2005 to £4.3m in 2008."
Commenting, TSL Managing Director David Phillips said: "It's gratifying to have your growth and success publicly acknowledged amongst highly visible corporations outside your traditional sector.
"This is a list that we look to remain part of for years to come and on the basis of our growing project list to date, I see no reason why we shouldn't."
