Four To Run Third Inbetweeners

Channel 4 has announced that filming commenced in April for a third series of the award winning hit E4 comedy, The Inbetweeners.
Still marooned in suburbia, The Inbetweeners follows four friends as they navigate the minefield of year 13 with their adolescent hormones running riot.
The original cast of Simon Bird (Will), James Buckley (Jay), Blake Harrison (Neil) and Joe Thomas (Simon) all return in a brand new 6 x 30 minute series which will be broadcast later this year. The series also sees the return of Greg Davies (Mr. Gilbert), Emily Head (Carli) and Emily Atack (Charlotte).
Written and executive produced by Damon Beesley and Iain Morris for Bwark Productions, the show has already landed an impressive array of awards including; British Comedy Awards, an RTS award for writing, a Broadcast Award, a TV Quick & TV Choice Award , an NME Award and nominations for both BAFTA and The National Television Awards.
The series has been commissioned by Head of Comedy at C4, Shane Allen, co-executive produced by Caroline Leddy, produced by Christopher Young and directed by Ben Palmer.
On the new series, Shane Allen said: "The Inbetweeners series have gone from strength to strength and the scripts for series III are masterpieces of teenage excruciation. New lows have been plumbed in brilliantly inventive ways."
Meanwhile, work continues on a feature length production of The Inbetweeners and a US version of the show is in the pipeline.
Independent production company Bwark Productions was founded in 2005 by Damon Beesley and Iain Morris.
Bwark's credits include Free Agents (Channel 4), Angelo's (Five), The Persuasionists (BBC Two) and several Jimmy Carr live stand up DVDs.
