Sencore To Roll Out New Products & Branding At NAB

Visitors to the Sencore booth during the 2010 NAB Show can expect to see some very exciting developments.
Products will focus on innovative solutions for flexible signal processing, multiplexing, testing, and monitoring, and a new corporate brand will also be launched.
In addition, Sencore will debut its Technology Bar, staffed with company engineers and experts who will be available throughout the show to answer questions and address technical and application-specific queries.
"As part of a major branding initiative, we are excited to kick off the Sencore brand-identity campaign during the 2010 NAB Show, where we'll also be unveiling several innovative products aimed at the broadcast, cable, and satellite markets," said Joe Sucharda, Sencore Vice President of Marketing. "We are a fast-growing technology company with key customers and partnerships within the industry, and our new look and product offerings reflect our leadership position in both video delivery and signal processing."
During the 2010 NAB Show, the company will unveil its first DVB-S2 modulator, a cost-effective family of fixed-format receiver/decoders, and a multichannel transcoding platform that delivers high reliability at an unbeatable cost-per-channel. Packaged in a two-channel, 1RU chassis, Sencore's new SMD 989 DVB-S2 Modulator performs multistream DVB-S2 modulation for video and audio broadcast delivery via satellite. The SMD 989 delivers one or two independent DVB-S2 modulations with up to six streams in each, with no need for outboard devices. The compact single-rack SMD 989 minimises transponder usage, saves space, reduces cabling and troubleshooting, and lowers the cost of up-front investment.
Sencore's IRD 3000 series of cost-effective receiver/decoders distributes video services in any network with a targeted application. Suitable for the international and domestic broadcast, satellite, cable, hospitality, and IPTV markets, Sencore IRD 3000 receiver/decoders fit easily into existing SD infrastructure and offer facilities a cost-effective, field-upgradable path to HD for the future. The new TXS 3453 Transcoder offers real-time, best-in-class transcoding in a reliable, high-density 1RU chassis. With a configurable search engine and multichannel architecture, the Sencore TXS 3453 provides broadcast, cable, and satellite operators with the most cost-effective solution for their specific transcoding needs.
Attendees of the 2010 NAB Show can stop by Sencore booth SU4310 to receive an individual demonstration of the new product lineup, talk directly with a Sencore Engineer, and discover where content meets technology.
