Rushes Welcomes The Return Of Dangerfield

Guillemots singer Fyfe Dangerfield is back and this time he's solo.
Rushes' colourist, Simone Grattarola, recently graded the promo for 'She Needs Me' in Resolve for London based video and film production company, Gas & Electric - leading creative content providers to the digital advertising industry.
Shot on RED, the promo follows Fyfe walking through a strange environment of ugly yet beautiful suburbia with flare wielding children, a cellist and a violinist, a unicorn and an overall sense of surrealism. Lovingly art directed and shot, Simone gave each scene its own motif. The overall grade has a lovely range of pastel colours with real depth and texture.
Tom King Executive Producer commented on the directing: "Koja are a very exciting new signing to Gas & Electric and their latest commission for Fyfe really nails the wonderful vision that they have as directors. Many thanks to Simone who has, as ever, done a fantastic job in delivering a wonderful grade to finish the film."

Dangerfield’s debut solo album "Fly Yellow Moon" is released this month on Geffen UK. Recorded almost a year ago in a small studio in London’s East End with regular Guillemots producer Adam Noble and drummers Matt Ingram and Jamie Morrison (of The Noisettes), the album is a typically eclectic blend of pop styles ranging from simple acoustic-guitar ditties to ELO-style orchestrations.
