Gearhouse showcase latest “Digital Flyaway Solution” at IBC

Gearhouse Broadcast will be exhibiting for the first time ever at IBC this year alongside sister sales company, Evolve Digital.
The rental division of Gearhouse Broadcast Ltd will be displaying the latest in Sony’s MPEG IMX family with the MSW M2000P Digital Recorder. Additionally the new MSW-900P Digital Camcorder will be on display with its wide screen switchable format offering broadcasters pictures of the highest quality. Rental Staff will be available to walk delegates through products like the DVW 790WS Digi Beta, DSR 570WSP DVCAM camcorder, J21/J11 with remotes, Vision Tripods and IMX VT Playouts.
In another first for Gearhouse Broadcast the Projects division will be showcasing their “Digital Flyaway Solutions”. Their digital flyaway systems are custom-built to offer flexibility and modularity at a fraction of the cost. The flyaway systems can be quickly assembled and configured to suit the needs of any production requirement. The projects team have supplied these flyaway solutions and project management services for numerous events across the globe including World Cup Football 2002, Winter Olympics 2002, and ATP Tennis Masters Series as part of an ongoing contract.
Project division engineers assemble the systems and infrastructure to either integrate equipment into existing installations or provide an entire stand-alone operation. The facilities that can be provided include VTR areas, World Feed, Audio, Master Control rooms and editing suites. The Projects team can ensure all production requirements are met, including: crewing, logistics and technical facilities. Evolve Digital buys and sells new and used broadcast manufacturer brands and professional video equipment for clients worldwide. Their product range includes VTR’s, DVE’s, editing systems, camcorders, audio equipment as well as entire installations worldwide. Evolve Digital offer systems integration services and the team will be available at IBC to give advice and consultations to delegates whether it is for the upgrade to Digital of an existing Analogue Studio or OB Unit, or a major new installation on a greenfield site.
