Soho 601 posts new Nytol Dreamland Commercial

Soho 601 have completed postproduction on the new Nytol Dreamland commercial, commissioned by Great Guns.
Paul Sims, Soho 601 Producer said: "The inspiration for the film was a very intricate film in the style of George Méliès' 'A trip to the Moon', which was one of the first animations ever made on film. We went through the storyboard, breaking down each shot into the separate components needed. Initially it was proposed that most of the work would be achieved in camera. After supervising the two-day shoot, it soon became apparent that most of the effects were now moving towards the postproduction.
Giles Cheetham, Inferno Operator added: "I worked very closely with the director to achieve the required look for the spot. Many layers were combined for each scene and then an overall look was given to the commercial adding film weave, grain slight exposure changes and of course, scratches. As there was a very tight deadline, the work was spread into the Infinity Suite at Soho 601, with work done by Dominic Thomson."
